  • The package offered is set and not interchangeable and no refund will be paid for unused facilities or complimentary items.

NO SHOW
If you fail to arrive on your check-in date without notifying us in writing (info@thecapegoa.com) we may choose to make the honeymoon suite available to other guests.

Any change of dates is at our discretion and will depend upon the notice that you give us and also availability. We may also charge an administration fee. Please be aware that future rates applicable to any newly agreed dates will apply.
CHECK-IN & CHECKOUT
Check-in is from 3pm and you must check-out before 11am.
Most guests check-in as soon as they can and out at the last minute. We need these few hours to clean the cottage and prepare for the next guests. If you arrive before 3pm you are welcome to wait in our restaurant.  Please be respectful to our cleaning team and the next guests and check-out on time. Failure to do so will result in another day’s charges being added to your bill.

Guests are advised to obtain comprehensive insurance.

We advise guests to plan and research their holiday and where possible obtain comprehensive insurance to cover any/all travel associated risks, as the resort accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation/refund any money where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extremely adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, unforeseen infestation, flight cancellation/schedule alterations, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility services, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.

Covid Safety

The safety, health, and happiness of our guests and colleagues is our top priority and we have worked hard to establish new health and safety standards across all resorts that are now in place. These include extensive cleaning and sanitising measures, social distancing in all areas of the hotel, and much more. 

These safety measures also mean that some of our facilities, services, and amenities may differ from what’s listed online or maybe currently operating in a limited capacity.

CHECK IN PROCEDURE
Upon arrival at the main entrance, we will temperature check each guest and spray your baggage with disinfectant, then at reception, you will be asked to fill out a short health questionnaire prior to check-in.

TEMPERATURE & HEALTH CHECK
We want all guests and colleagues to take a body temperature check upon each entry to our resort. Anyone with a fever, showing signs of illness, or exhibiting virus symptoms will be advised to see a doctor immediately.

STAFF VACCINATION
We encourage our staff team to get fully vaccinated. However, for a range of reasons some staff will not be vaccinated or fully vaccinated (health reasons, personal beliefs, availability of vaccine, etc).

CLEANING AND SANITISATION
Our team is implementing new precautionary and sanitisation standards developed with the guidance and information provided by both local health authorities and government requirements.

We have increased the frequency of property-wide cleaning and disinfecting, with extra focus paid to high-touch surfaces and public spaces like the front reception, door handles, public bathrooms, and room keys. These stringent measures extend to all guest rooms as well as all employee-only areas.

Where we have restaurants/kitchen teams they are also implementing new precautionary measures in every aspect of food preparation, set-up, and service. This includes frequent disinfection of all kitchen surfaces as well as all colleagues wearing masks when preparing, plating, and serving dishes.

HYGIENE
The simplest daily habits can be some of the most important steps in preventing the spread of viruses: Proper and frequent hand washing is vital. We keep hand sanitiser readily available throughout our resorts, at the front desks, in restaurant areas, and in public restrooms.

Masks are required for all persons within the hotel, both guests and colleagues. Our entire team is trained on the importance of wearing masks and will be taking precautions to provide a safe environment for our guests.

SOCIAL DISTANCING
Guests will be advised to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from other groups. All layouts in our restaurants and public spaces will be arranged to ensure appropriate distancing. Our employees will practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from guests and other employees whenever possible.

GUEST ROOMS
Daily housekeeping services will be available upon request only.

ROOM SERVICE & GUEST REQUESTS
All room service orders and guest requests will be delivered to the door. To minimize contact, our colleagues will knock to notify guests of order delivery. Menus are available on our website.
